Computer Recycling Program

Under the latest Universal Waste Rules, spent or unwanted computers, monitors and hardware must be managed as hazardous waste unless they pass a TCLP test or are reused or recycled. A 15" monitor can contain up to 4 pounds of lead.

We have 2 classifications of computer recycling:
1. Reusable - Computers, monitors and hardware that can be utilized by the Ohio Technology Program (OTAP). This is an all volunteer program that is a registered 501(C)(3) corporation, that rehabs used equipment and donates computers world wide.

The only cost to your company would be transportation charges from your location to Dayton, Ohio.

2. Non-Reusable - All outdated equipment and dummy monitors that cannot be used by OTAP will be directed to EPA registered recycling facilities. This service will involve additional costs. We will then issue a certificate of destruction for your company to keep on file for compliance purposes.

Confidential Document Destruction

Shredding confidential papers can be time consuming and very expensive. We have a program for collecting and destroying confidential documents by turning the paper into pulp, which also includes a certificate of destruction for your files.

Wood Recycling

Our program is a mulch-based program, which enables us to grind any size skid, pallet, crate and loose wood from your solid waste stream. We can also provide on-site wood grinding for larger jobs. This service will involve additional costs.

When a business recycles wood though our program, the business along with their employees may purchase hard wood mulch at wholesale prices from the processing facility. It is playground-grade and great for landscaping.
