RDA Recycling recycles many materials. While we can find markets for many unusual commodities, here is a list of our more traditional materials:
Under the latest Universal Waste Rules, spent or unwanted computers, monitors and hardware must be managed as hazardous waste unless they pass a TCLP test or are reused or recycled. A 15" monitor can contain up to 4 pounds of lead. We have 2 classifications of computer recycling:
Confidential Document Destruction Shredding confidential papers can be time consuming and very expensive. We have a program for collecting and destroying confidential documents by turning the paper into pulp, which also includes a certificate of destruction for your files. Like computers and their peripherals, the Universal Waste Rules covers the following e-waste:
All material will be directed to EPA registered recycling facilities. This service will involve additional costs. We will then issue a certificate of destruction for your company to keep on file for compliance purposes. Our program is a mulch-based program, which enables us to grind any size skid, pallet, crate and loose wood from your solid waste stream. We can also provide on-site wood grinding for larger jobs. This service will involve additional costs. When a business recycles wood though our program, the business along with their employees may purchase hard wood mulch at wholesale prices from the processing facility. It is playground-grade and great for landscaping. |
